Makeup Makes Me Happy!

I finally made my big order! I have been waiting for ages to put in the order, just waiting for my makeup money to come through from Younique. I LOVE MY JOB!
So I bought myself some foundation. Both Mineral powder and cream foundation. I am SO excited to see how my skin likes them. They definitely have some healthier ingredients than I have had in my makeup before, which I love since the skin takes less than 26 seconds to absorb chemicals in the stuff you put on it. Yikes!

I think I may be most excited about the Mineral Eye Pigments I got myself. Younique has shimmery and matt pigments and I went all out shimmery this time, although this photo below makes me sort of want to add a few colors to my order!
I am SO excited to try them out! I have two testers I have been using so far and am completely in love with them! They are so long lasting and gorgeous! I got them from a friend and even though they are not colours I would have picked personally they are so amazing! I am so thankful for the chance to try something new and love it!!
I have used the Eye Pigments straight out of the container, mineral type style, and I have tried adding both regular water and the Younique Rose water to make them liquid and I must say the Rose Water Eye Pigment mix is my favorite. They dry SO fast, there is no smudging and they last for over 12 hours!
Some other things you can do with the mineral eye pigments is mix them with your lip gloss to add a bit of color, or add them to vaseline even. You can also use them in your nail polish... but I am so bad at nail stuff I don't think I will ever really try that one.
I have yet to try the Younique lip gloss. I got one in my presenter kit but gave it away as a prize. So I am super excited to pick one of these colors to try for myself. I got a set of 10. One for me, and 9 to give away to others as prizes. Good stuff!!
This week I also received my brush set. I got it as a prize for selling for over $500 in 10 days. I love all this free makeup!! And I was amazed at how easy it was to reach the $500!
I am also super excited to get the cream foundation so that I can try out my January Kudos; The Younique Blending Buds. I got those from Younique for hosting a qualifying party in January. They are new on the market in March but I have my set with my makeup stash, ready to go! I am so excited for the rest of the new products coming in March and the next few months. I will have to tell you about them later. That's a whole other blog post!

Just Realized I am Pregnant

I love sleeping in! I miss sleeping in! I wish I could sleep in at least twice a week!!
This morning my husband let me go back to bed at 8am (Tman, now 11 months old, woke up at 6:30am as per usual) and I slept wonderfully until it was Tman's nap time at 9am. I was so not ready to wake up yet so I broke my own rule and had a nap with mr.T. We slept another hour :) heeeeaaavvveeeen!!! But still didn't stop me from being tired again by noon. 27 weeks pregnant and I think my body just realized I am pregnant!! I am so tired and get nauseous so easily!! I guess I can't complain though because before a week ago I kept forgetting that I was pregnant because I just felt so super normal!! I am still feeling fairly good :) just not not pregnant :) it's on days like today that I am thankful for makeup! Thank heavens I can hide my tired eyes behind my magic mascara :)

Liebliche Deutschland

Dear Germany,
Awesomeness is coming your way! let all your ladies know they no longer have to suffer with short, stubby, sparse lashes. All the gorgeousness of Younique will be available to the lovely women of Germany by this autumn!! If you have any questions about it... just ask :)

Need a Job?

What do I love about my "Job"? I get to stay at home with my kids and my husband (when he gets home from work). I get paid every 3 hours. I use social media in a more productive way for myself and my family. I get free makeup and makeup discounts. I make new friends. I choose my hours. I can do all of my "work" on my phone, wherever, whenever. It's fun!
I love it :) I am so thankful for Younique and how it lets me live my life the way I want to live it!

I am unemployed, pregnant and have an 11 month old and no one will hire me. Can't really blame them since the Icelandic government so graciously gives new mothers 6 to 18 months for maternity leave. Who wants to hire someone who will be there for the next 3 months, perhaps even less if she starts developing pregnancy related issues... and then she's off with her new baby for 6-18 months!
Younique does!!! :D

And I am not at all worried about returning to work :) A lot of ladies who are Younique independent presenters have full time jobs. I can totally see why or how they could to that. This business doesn't feel like work. It's more of an awesome hobby with loads of rewards.

A Perfect Day for Pigment Shopping

I found out the other day that my favorite makeup company has a ridiculously low price on Mineral Eye Pigments at the moment so I am going shopping! They are 100% natural, hypoallergenic, cruelty free, Paraben free and in all other ways amazing! My favorite thing to do with my mineral pigments (I currently have two testers) is to mix them with a tiny bit of rose water (you can totally use regular water as well) so they become more bright. I have found with a lot of liquid eyeshadows that they fade or bunch up in the crease of the eye if you don't use a primer. With the Younique mineral eye pigments they stay, for hours! no smudging, no creasing, no fading. They just stay! like a well trained dog! Here are some of my favorite colors, and I can't wait to try out these looks :)

It's All About the Baby Bedroom

Having back to back pregnancies makes you sort of obsessed with baby things. I have been having way too much fun looking at baby bedroom interior designs. There is so much super cuteness out there! I just wanted to share a bit of it :)
I wouldn't mind some of this gorgeousness for my baby girl. I am not a huge fan of pink, but that wall looks yummy! Just the right shade for a tomboy mom like me. And just check out all those little details. The gorgeous rug, the changing mat, the bunting on the wall. Love love love it!
Do you see what I see? a freaking wall paper circle on the wall.... amazing!!! It's not something I would have thought of myself, but just adds a bit of "hey I am the coolest most creative mom on the block" to the room. Who doesn't want some of that!
So many teeny tiny things! and that bed!! This photo must be from somewhere in Denmark. They always seem to know how to make me slobber over interior designs over there!
Something about how colorful this photo is makes me happy. I see photos like this and they make me want to go outside and collect branches and makes something cool to put on the wall. But somehow I don't think it would look as professional if I did it myself... maybe I should just try anyways.
Once again, so colorful! So happy! I love the yellow bench and those photos on the wall are just darling! I wouldn't mind my babies having such happy colorful things in their lives!
Painted wooden floors, so favorite. The bunting on the wall, so favorite. The amount of resisting nap time coming from my 11 month old at the moment... not so favorite!

Elsa (Frozen) Has the Best Eyeshadow!

During the day my baby boy and I have so much fun! He loves to play the piano and sing and he LOVES Frozen. Especially when Elsa and Anna are little girls. Watching him watch them is so adorable!! So we watch Frozen every.single.day! The other day while watching Frozen with one eye I noticed how amazing Elsa's makeup is, not just that, but also how freaking awesome her lashes are! I mean, she must be wearing Younique!
I really really want to recreate that look using the Younique Mineral Eye Pigments and 3D fiber lash mascara. This one looks amazing!! I love the shimmery awesomeness going on in this photo! It looks like a summer sunset.
I really like this one too, but I think if you use the Younique 3D fiber lash mascara you could go without all that eyeliner... That's just what I think.
This one is really cool too, but I am not a huge fan of the falsies, I would much rather put on some 3D fibers and pretend my lashes are really that awesome!! :D
I think though, for a normal every day kind of Elsa look I would go for these pigments. They are 100% natural minerals, no added parabens and really really reasonable price! Plus (and this is my favorite) you can add a bit of water and they turn into magic!! Seriously, you need to try it

Holy Hallways!

I dream of a house, one that is not really all that big, but bright, and beautiful and full of beautiful things and has at least one hallway! We don't have that now. We have an open space, a bathroom and two bedrooms, which is enough for now, but man do I like dreams! Especially the ones that come true.
The vaulted ceiling thing is totally doing it for me. I just love how nature friendly this photo is. The wood floors, the bright white, the plant and the garden at the end of the hall. Ohh please, tell me this is one of the things I can look forward to in our future. Can't you just see my kids running down the hall and playing in the lush backyard with J and I chasing after them... for one reason or another. I love it!
This just reminds me of a Jane Austen. So romantic and cool. I am loving the floor! and the color on the walls, and the painted furniture, and the ... well all of it... I am totally in love with every little detail in this photo!
The door, the floor, the greenery outside! This picture also just reminds me of my mom. She is beautiful and has such beautiful interior decorating at her house. Interiors that remind me of my mom just make me feel all warm and cozy. That is something I want in my future as well as right now!
So Scandinavian, just like me!The white painted wood on the floors and the ceilings are so clean looking. Might not be so clean looking when you have young children who drop all of their food on the floor... on purpose. But someday, someday!
I love the idea of this photo. Although looking at it makes me think  cleaning those floors and keeping them curtains clean would be a pain in the butt! Probably a good interior design for people who have someone else clean their house a couple of times a week. I don't think I would feel up to it, especially these days since I seem to be constantly pregnant. But it's cozy looking, a perfect hallway and living space to keep in my dreams and have not come true :) haha
