Indecisive Much?

I am starting to understand why so many moms have blogs and Etsy shops. I used to lack motivation to create unless I had a final to study for or a paper to write. Except for that one time I lived in that room that made me want to create 24/7. I swear there was a creativity ghost haunting that room!
Since having baby boy I have felt so inspired. I think it's all that time you get to just think while breastfeeding at all hours of the day and night. A lot of ideas happen. Also, when you finally have some time for yourself while baby naps or when he has gone to bed at night I just want to do everything I possibly can in those minutes and hours before he wakes up again and demands all your time, love and attention.... which I happily give him.
I am loving this mommy thing! Earlier this year I went to a summer house with friends, all women, most moms, and all of them told me how difficult being a mom is. They also stressed how worth it it is. I understand now and am sure I will continue to understand even better in the future as baby boy grows into mr. man and other children join our family.
Back to the creative mess. My evening now consist of having my brother and his wife come over to watch chuck with J and me. I promise this time I am going to sit down and watch it with them but somehow I end up doing a bit of crocheting, some painting, a little bit of sewing, maybe a bit of baking and browsing Etsy/Pinterest, while still totally knowing what is going on in Chuck's life. If they were a mom they would understand! I have maybe 3 hours of me time a day... and from being single for 27 years before getting married and becoming a mom at 29 I have gotten used to having more than at least 8 hours a day me time. Spoiled brat! With less time and more motivation I have learned to multitask to the max. Here are some of the things I have to show for it.

Last night I made this Lady Monster. My brother and sister in law came over to watch Chuck just as baby boy was falling asleep. I sat down to watch it with them only to hear him wake up again, so I went back in the bedroom. While I was helping him fall asleep again I had this brilliant idea. As soon as he had fallen asleep I got my sewing machine, some fabric, some ribbons and stuff and told the fam, sitting in front of the TV wondering if I was going to join them again, that I had had an inspiration and needed to make this thing real fast. When I had finished it and showed them... they were severely unimpressed. But I was, and still am, super proud of my lady monster pillow doll toy for children around my sons age. It even rattles. How cool is that!

Thing is we live in a small flat so now I have to put some of this on my Etsy shop... Feel free to share it with your homies. I would much appreciate it.
